| dc.description | This paper investigates technical inefficiency in four of the major wheat-producing states in the US. The findings show that the inefficiency of wheat production varied widely in these states and has a mean value of 16 percent. Increase moisture level has positive impact on the mean efficiency while wheat’s share acreage has negative impact on efficiency. | |
