From 2016 to 2025, FAO supported 22 000 small-scale farming families in the West Bank—35 percent women—through a USD 19.9 million project aimed at boosting agricultural value chains. The initiative improved land and water access, introduced sustainable farming practices, upgraded post-harvest facilities, and strengthened cooperatives’ market access and services. As a result, farmers saw increased yields, profits, and access to quality services through a stronger cooperative network.
