The study reported here aimed to develop and characterise a biodegradable HPMC–CS film plasticised with Gly and to evaluate its perfor- mance in limiting moisture loss and preserving product quality (weight loss, colour and firmness) in fresh-cut mango under refrig- erated storage, using commercial poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) film and an unpackaged control as benchmarks.
