This experience is part of a documented series developed within the framework of a series of dialogues entitled “Climate-Resilient Management of Agricultural Ecosystems,” organized by the Soil Community of Practice in Latin America and the Caribbean.Cassava is the third most important source of carbohydrates in the Caribbean, and its significance has grown in recent years. Over the past decade, its production has increased significantly due to concerns about food security and the need to find alternatives to imported foods such as cereals, potatoes, and grains.
