The training manual provides an easy way of imparting basic know-how on hygienic milk handling among the small-scale milk traders so as to reduce losses and increase their income.
This training manual has been designed for training small-scale milk traders with the following three objectives.
• To equip participants with background knowledge on causes of milk spoilage and quality control.
• To educate participants on hygienic milk handling practices and quality control.
• To enable participants to practice the quality control and hygienic tests under normal milk marketing conditions and determine those that are viable in their businesses.
