dc.descriptionThe Sustainable Management of the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem (BOBLME) project is an initiative of the eight countries bordering the Bay of Bengal – Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand – aimed at maintaining and improving the health of the region’s marine and coastal ecosystems and living resources, and consequently the lives of the coastal populations reliant on these resources.
