This publication presents findings from a systems-level assessment of climate-smart mixed smallholder livestock systems in Cambodia, conducted under the FAO–UNDP SCALA Programme with the Royal University of Agriculture. It analyses production practices, climate risks, and opportunities to strengthen livestock productivity, resilience, and sustainability in Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, and Preah Vihear.Aligned with FAO’s Strategic Framework 2022–31 and the Four Betters, the report promotes climate-smart, low-emission livestock systems that support livelihoods and contribute to Cambodia’s NDC and MAFF’s Climate Change Priority Action Plan. It provides evidence-based recommendations to inform policy, investment, and capacity-building efforts.
