This sector assessment is an important step towards developing a strategy to support the process of reactivation and modernization of the agricultural sector of St. Kitts and Nevis, also it will make it possible to identify more clearly policy options, institutional reform programmes and the level of investment needed for sectoral growth. Additionally, it could serve as a support document for St. Kitts and Nevis in the country's negotiation with international funding agencies.
