Descripción
The Niger faces multiple shocks such as increased insecurity, drought, floods and epidemic diseases, which add to the country’s underdevelopment. These factors are disrupting vulnerable people’s livelihoods, and worsening their levels of food insecurity and malnutrition. It is crucial to provide vulnerable farmers and pastoralists with timely assistance to restore their livelihoods and prevent the adoption of negative coping mechanisms.
