En este estudio se estimó el volumen total del mercado de cacao y banano orgánico comercializado a nivel internacional para el 2001 su crecimiento y las tendencias de precios; se evaluaron diferentes sistemas de certificación orgánica; y por último se analizó el canal de comercialización de ambos productos, sus actores y sus interrelaciones.
In this study, we analyzed the volume of organic and banana traded in the international market as well as growth and price tendencies. We also evaluated under which accreditation schemes different organic certification bodies are registered. Finally, we studied the marketing channels of both products, the respective actors and their interrelations.
