This methodological note describes the overview, goal, target audiences, learning objectives, methodology and activities of the online facilitated course "Forest and Land Monitoring for Climate Action - SEPAL", and each of its modules: 1) Institutionalization of forest data, 2) Introducing SEPAL for forest and land monitoring, 3) High-integrity measurement, reporting and verification, 4) Monitoring of forest and ecosystem restoration, and 5) Peatland mapping and monitoring.
It also explains the structure, workload and completion requirements of the available learning paths, as well as the course calendar and certification.
