The document presents Grenada as the first of the Eastern Caribbean States to become a member of IICA. The document includes messages from Nicholas A. Brathwaite, Prime Minister&Minister of External Affairs; Ben J. Jones, Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry&Fisheries; Martin E. Piñeiro, Director General of IICA; and Reginald E. Pierre, Director of Operations (Caribbean). A history of IICA in Grenada together with highlights of its activities there is presented, together with information on among other things ongoing multinational projects, and the Plan of Joint Action for Agricultural Reactivation in Latin America and the Caribbean - PLANLAC.
