| dc.description | Urbanization data is essential in understanding livelihoods, food security, population characteristics and climatic sensitivity. Urbanization classes across the Agno river basin is obtained from the Global Human Settlement Layer (GHSL) to support the GEF-8 Clean and Healthy Oceans Integrated Programme (IP). The overarching aim of the IP is to mitigate coastal pollution from agricultural, industrial, and municipal sources. Therefore, urbanization data is fundamental in understanding the potential pollution sources across the river basin. | |
