This flyer announces the 5th World Teak Conference (WTC) 2025, scheduled for September 17-20, 2025, in Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Kerala, India, organized by the Kerala Forest Research Institute, the International Teak Information Network (TEAKNET) and the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) with the support of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Government of Japan and the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO Teakwood Working Party Div. 5.06.02)The conference will focus on "Sustainable Development of the Global Teak Sector- Adapting to Future Markets and Environments. The conference participants include both public and private sectors concerned with teak plantation management, including small holders, traders, processing industries, forest departments, policy makers and researchers. The exhibition offers a very diverse exhibition space that will be the gateway to your area of specialisation and expand your knowledge, find new partners, build relationships and explore future career paths for your company. WTC is a global event that attracts more than 300 participants from across the world and the conference will host exhibitors, including research organizations, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, forest products industries and processors among others.
