Descripción
Drought affects the food security of a region. To assess the food security, agricultural drought is measured from Agricultural Stress Index System (ASIS) for eastern Bhutan (1984-2021). Agriculture land area (cropland) for Bhutan are obtained from the land cover of Bhutan (2022) in context of GEF–8 projects. The main aim of the GEF–8 project is to transform cropland to improve the region's food security.
