Reports on lamb mortality and overall productivity in the improved production systems in Cote d'Ivoire; and identifies important factors to be considered in strategies for the improvement of sheep production in the humid zone of West Africa, namely flock, ewe, year of lambing, lambing season and the combined effect "litter type and sex of litter".
