Based on an analysis of information needs carried out within the framework of SIPSA, the atlas analyses the overall trends in pastoral livestock farming and the prevailing setting. Considering the economic impacts of climatic conditions, a prospective analysis of different economic sectors in Sahelian countries is essential.
