In Tajikistan, where rural women constitute 59 percent of the agricultural labor force, the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programme implemented the "Leaving No One Behind" (LNOB) project from October 2021 to December 2024. The project aimed to improve rural women's socioeconomic status by enhancing their access to knowledge, skills, and economic opportunities, with a budget of USD 950,000 covering Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. In Tajikistan, 31 rural women received training in mushroom cultivation and fruit drying, with twelve women receiving equipment support. Key milestones included a Country Gender Assessment validation workshop in April 2024, women's training in October 2024, equipment distribution in November 2024, and a visit from the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry delegation. The project aligned with SDGs 1, 2, and 5, prioritizing hunger elimination, poverty reduction, and sustainable food systems development.
