Tercer panel del segundo día del Evento Internacional sobre Agricultura Tropical Sustentable, integrado por representantes de SENASICA, SNICS, CNOG, ANMEC y CATIE. Los especialistas debaten el papel de la agrobiodiversidad y la conservación de recursos genéticos como escudos contra riesgos sanitarios transfronterizos. Se analizan amenazas críticas como el Fusarium R4T, la mosca del Mediterráneo y el gusano barrenador, evaluando el Programa Nacional de Semillas y la trazabilidad ganadera para proteger exportaciones. Finalmente, se promueven los sistemas silvopastoriles, el uso de biodigestores y el aprovechamiento de la biodiversidad nativa como alternativas económicas.
