The document contains a questionnaire for the undertaking of a survey of marine fisheries management methods in West Africa. The questionnaire aims at identifying key changes which have occurred in the application of fisheries management methods since the mid 1980's. It also seeks information on key issues and constraints which countries in West Africa are presently facing in the management of their fisheries. After a pilot test in one or two countries and the subsequent adaptation of the form, the questionnaire is to be administered by seven country consultants in seven West African countries.
