The report describes the operations of the FAO-assisted Fertilizer Programme in Ecuador from October 1970 through September 1973. 72 fertilizer demonstration results are reported in detail. The results of a fertilizer distribution and credit scheme for small holders in three pilot acres are given. The reported operations have been conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture (MAG) ex-Mission Andina (ex-MLE) and INERHI (Ecuadorian Institute of Hydraulic Resources).
