Under the first phase of the programme, a number of methodologies and approaches were piloted which contributed to establishing the Joint Programme ‘Accelerating Progress Towards Rural Women’s Economic Empowerment’ (JP RWEE) as a well proven model for rural women’s economic empowerment. This booklet shares selected good practices from each of the phase one countries on a number of thematic areas of intervention, including climate smart agriculture, nutrition, women’s entrepreneurship, gender transformative approaches and gender responsive policy.
