Descripción

This is an initial, key set of characterization and evaluation descriptors for herbaceous small tropical species, namely Clitoria ternatea, Macroptilium atropurpureum, Stylosanthes guianensis, Stylosanthes hamata and Stylosanthes scabra. The strategic set aims to facilitate access to and utilization of these species and helps researchers utilize accessions more easily. While these descriptors have been developed for the five species above, they may also be helpful for the characterization of other similar forage legumes.
