| dc.description | The paper aimed to analyse the process maturity of short food supply chains. Process orientation has been recognized as a basic concept of the chains functioning. Based on developed Model of Process Maturity of Short Food Supply Chains, which was used to analyse 35 short food supply chains, it was found that the shorter the chain is and the less people are involved in it, the higher maturity of processes could be observed that is govern by the institution of trust. The researchers identified also the shortage gap and overgrowth gap in the process maturity, which influence the sustainable extension of the short food supply chains. | |
