The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is fully committed to support countries’ efforts to monitor the 2030 Agenda, in particular the 21 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators under its custodianship. At national level, disaggregation of FAO-relevant SDG indicators is critical to ensuring that necessary policies and plans are based on solid statistical evidence, and that resources are directed to the areas and population groups most in need. The Office of Chief Statistician of FAO has developed this training programme to assist countries in producing and using disaggregated data for the SDGs. If you are interested in organizing a training in your country, FAO can arrange it online.
