Agricultural Trade Expert Network in Europe and Central Asia - The network brings together experts who conduct research, carry out training programmes and advise governments and private sector on issues related to agricultural trade and trade policy, including regional and multilateral trade agreements. The core business of the network is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge.
Every month, members receive a monthly newsletter/bulletin (project output) with key updates on agricultural trade policies in the region and relevant news highlights related to agricultural trade to supplement the exchange of knowledge.
The monthly bulletin contributes to Outcome 40102 - Countries and their regional economic communities’ capacities reinforced to engage effectively in the formulation of international agreements and voluntary guidelines that promote transparent market actions, enhanced market opportunities and more efficient agricultural and food systems. It is directly linked to the Regional Initiative on Improving Agrifood Trade and Market Integration in Europe and Central Asia.
