dc.descriptionThe study shows the results of an on-line international survey elaborated as a risk assessment tool concerning the use of antimicrobials and the awareness on antimicrobial resistance among beekeepers. The survey was conducted in collaboration between the Animal Production and Health Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), Appalachian State University (CARE) and the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Lazio e della Toscana (IZSLT). The survey was disseminated for a period of 12 months in ten languages at the global level through the Technologies and Practices for small agricultural producers (TECA) Platform of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in collaboration with the International Federation of Beekeepers’ Association (Apimondia).
