This edition starts with International Women’s Day and looks at the role of women in agriculture across Europe and Central Asia, as the region enters the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026. It also includes FAO’s updated gender profile for Uzbekistan, with new insights to support more inclusive policies. The issue brings together updates from across the region, including support to women farmers and new initiatives in different countries. It also shares stories from Tajikistan, Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
