FAO China ECTAD Highlights in November 2019: 1)The international symposium: the role of veterinary epidemiology in the development of effective African swine fever control and prevention policies in support of pork industry and regional animal health services was organized in Qingdao, Shandong Province from 6 to 7 November 2019. Approximately 55 representatives participated in this symposium. 2)The revised FAO Manual Section 502 (MS 502) on Procurement was rolled out. To support its implementation, a 3-day face-to-face training was organized by CSDA at FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand from 25-27 November 2019. To ensure better implementation of procurement activities under the new MS 502, Ms Lu Feng attended the training on behalf of FAO China ECTAD Office.
