dc.descriptionMediante la técnica de electroforesis (PAGE) se analizaron 204 muestras fecales de lechones diarreicos entre dos y seis semanas de edad, de diferentes granjas porcícolas del país, con el fin de analizar los electroferotipos del ARN de rotavirus. Para la extracción del ARN viral se empleó tiocianato de guanidina y la electroforesis se realizó en geles de poliacrilamida. Sólo 33 muestras ( 16.1 %) fueron positivas al ARN de rotavirus.
