The report covers country briefs for 17 countries in four regions: • Latin America: Haiti • Africa: Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Lake Chad Basin (northeastern Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger), Liberia, Mali, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan • Middle East: Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen • Asia: Afghanistan • Europe: Ukraine The situation differs from country to country; however, it is unsurprising that countries that countries with ongoing conflicts have the highest numbers of food insecure people.
