The project directly contributed to SDG targets 2.1 (ending hunger and ensuring access to safe and nutritious food) and 2.3 (doubling the productivity and incomes of small-scale food producers) by reducing household food insecurity in targeted areas from a baseline of 11 percent toward the 6 percent target, while improving production, value addition, and incomes along the dairy and maize value chains. Through the promotion of climate-resilient practices, including biogas use, bio-slurry application, and value chain training, the project enhanced productivity and resilience, contributing to SDG target 2.4 on sustainable and resilient food production systems.
