As women and men farmers are increasingly adopting powered and automated equipment, the dangers of related accidents are rising. These accidents can cause grievous bodily harm from simple cuts and scrapes to loss of fingers, limbs and life. Operators of these machines must be very conscious and constantly aware of the safety of everyone involved and working near these powered machines.
A poster on the safety and the correct use of powered machines should be made available in the communities. Please print this safety poster and display it at the mechanization service centres and where gatherings take place. There is great need to create many other safety posters for other popular powered agricultural machinery.
