Presents results of day time only or 24 hours observations and weekly gynaecological examinations & plasma progesterone profile assessments in 28 cows and 4 bulls to determine oestrous cycle in Small East African Zebu cattle in the highlands of Ethiopia. Includes data percent of heats missed by the two type of observations, duration & length of oestrous cycle, and number and time of mounts.
