This brochure describes the FAO-Nobel Peace Laureates Alliance, established on 11 May 2016 at FAO headquarters, which is working to secure peaceful civil society as an enduring solution to issues of hunger and food insecurity. The overall goal of the Alliance is to contribute to creating the necessary political will to eradicate hunger within this generation and to build sustainable peace.
