This poster presents efforts led by the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT through the 1000FARMS platform and MrBot Software Solutions to improve how tricot trials are managed and shared using ClimMob. It addresses current challenges such as inconsistent trial designs, limited interoperability, and concerns about data privacy. In response, the team gathered user insights to redesign ClimMob workflows, introducing standardized categories, structured protocols, and new data governance measures including controlled and anonymized data sharing. These improvements aim to boost trial quality, enable better reporting, and support collaboration by making datasets more usable and secure. The work is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and engages CGIAR and external partners to promote more effective, scalable on-farm experimentation.
