| dc.description | In Pakistan, the work of the FAO-implemented and Republic of Korea-funded Action to support implementation of Codex AMR Texts (ACT) project is seeing positive results in the rural livestock sector. The project has been training veterinary practitioners to raise awareness among livestock carers about the need for responsible and prudent use of antimicrobials to reduce the threat of foodborne antimicrobial resistance. This is the first in a series of success stories that will focus on different activities of the ACT project in each of the six project countries. | |
