The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) created the Global Rinderpest Action Plan (GRAP) which governments, international organizations and local stakeholders can apply to the preparation, prevention, detection, response and recovery of not only Rinderpest, but other Transboundary Animal Diseases such as Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) and Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR).
