Descripción
After the final phase of the Flexible Multi-Partner Mechanism (FMM), which ended in 2017, there is a need to inform resource partners about the work carried out by FAO, through funding from the FMM. The publication does this by highlighting key initiatives and beneficiaries served, and by giving a more general outlook on the importance of less earmarked funding in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This document is intended for partners that are already part of the Mechanism, but also for new ones that ware willing to contribute flexible funds as part of the new phase. In light of this, the brochure ends by highlighting new priority areas and the criteria for the allocation of funds.
