| dc.description | WTO 2019 Public Forum - Trading Forward: Adapting to a Changing World The importance of developing countries and small-scale producers in the supply of fish and fishery products to international markets, in addition to the unique role of vessels in fish production, naturally leads to trade opportunities in fisheries services. Regardless of whether the fish is wild caught or from aquaculture, demand for services arise throughout the supply chain. The FAO Working Session will discuss options on reaching effective win-win situations for trade in fisheries services where participating countries and stakeholders can benefit from more efficient allocation patterns. On Wednesday 9 October 2019, the FAO working session will be live streamed from 14:45-16:15. | |
