The theme for the IWD 2024 “Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress” aligns with the priority theme of the United Nations’ 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), to examine the pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere. It raises urgent questions about the underrepresentation and challenges women face, emphasizing the critical need for increased financial support for gender equality as we approach the 2030 SDG deadline. | |
