FAO, an accredited entity to the Green Climate Fund, is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, assessing and mitigating the current and potential impacts of the pandemic on GCF-funded projects. This Q&A looks at how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting FAO’s GCF-related work – e.g. project timelines, funding proposal submissions, and upcoming GCF Board meeting dates – as well as the measures that are being put in place to mitigate these impacts. The information presented may be of interest to GCF National Designated Authorities, focal points, government counterparts, and stakeholders in general.
