The publication looks back on 45 years of excellence in research for development since Bioversity International was established, in 1974, as the International Board for Plant Genetic Resources. It is the result of a crowdsourced approach with short contributions written by past and present staff members, Directors Generals, Board Chairs, partners and farmers. The book is not an exhaustive documentation of our work, but a representative sample chosen to celebrate some important moments and themes over the years.
