Descripción
The Office of Evaluation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is conducting a series of Country Programme Evaluations (CPEs). The main purpose of the CPEs is to better orient FAO’s programme to the specific needs of the country and make the best use of FAO’s comparative advantages. Furthermore, the CPEs aim to enhance the impact of FAO’s contributions at the country level to achieve the Global Goals of its members, namely: i) the eradication of hunger, food insecu rity and malnutrition; ii) the elimination of poverty and the driving forward of economic and social progress for all; and iii) the sustainable management and utilization of natural resources for the benefit of present and future generations.
