Effective control of "hopping flea" Epitrix sp was obtained with powder of spores of Beauveria sp. This treatment significantly reduced "hopping flea" populations.
Beauveria sp was dusted onto "hopping flea" adults, eggs and larvae in the laboratory of the lnstituto Nacional de Investigacion in Palian. Peru. The method of application of spores in suspension significantly reduced the eggs in larval populations.. Similarly. suspension of spores directly on the soil reduced only the eggs.
