The paper presents a synthetic evaluation of the level of sustainability of agriculture in Podlaskie province
in spatial terms, using of sustainability indicators in terms of three criteria: agro-ecological, economic and
social. According to the a synthetic evaluation high degree of sustainability of agriculture was characterized
by 10 districtes (71%). The highest scoring level of agriculture sustainability in districts received Grajewo,
Augustów and Wysokie Mazowieckie, and the lowest Hajnówka.
