dc.descriptionEsta investigación consistió en identificar los mecanismos de financiamiento para manejo de la microcuenca La Soledad en el municipio de Valle de Angeles, Honduras, El proceso metodológico consistió en la recopilación y análisis de información primaria y secundaria con las instituciones relacionadas con las distintas leyes del sector ambiental, agrícola, municipal, etc. También, se recopiló y analizó información de instituciones con experiencias en manejo de fondos ambientales y los distintos mecanismos de financiamiento, mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas. Los resultados revelan que, el marco legal para los mecanismos de financiamiento para manejo de cuencas no es claro ni específico, actualmente el amparo legal que han desarrollado experiencias de diferentes zonas del país, no es más que una ordenanza municipal o simplemente un convenio entre las partes involucradas. This research consisted in identifying financing mechanisMON to manage the La Soledad micro watershed in the Valle de Angeles district, Honduras. The methodological process involved collecting and analysis of primary and secondary information from institutions related to different laws from the environmental, agricultural and municipal sectors. Information gathered through semi-structured interviews to institutions with experiences in environmental funds management and different financing mechanisMON was also collected and analyzed. Results indicate that legal framework for watershed management financing mechanisMON is not clear or specific. Currently, the legal umbrella developed through experiences in different areas of the country is just a municipal bylaw or merely an agreement between parties involved.
