It has been developed to provide a harmonized internationally agreed vocabulary associated with the implementation of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) and International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs). Within the context of the IPPC and its ISPMs, all references to plants should be understood to continue to include algae and fungi, consiste nt with the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants. | |
