Descripción
As food systems are uniquely connected to many social and environmental challenges, their transformation can create synergies that combat several global crises at once. Organized by FAO in collaboration with the Governments of Senegal, Quebec and the State of Bahia (Brazil), IAAS and YPARD, this event will highlight actions from vulnerable groups such as women, youth, indigenous people, and small-scale farmers. Through concrete experiences, this panel discussion will showcase how encompassing the three pillars of inclusivity, resilience, and low carbon can help us successfully reach our climate targets while ensuring the food security and livelihoods of all.
