dc.descriptionThe FAO-OEA/CIE-IICA working group on agricultural and livestock statistics for Latin America and the Caribbean is a Statutory Body of FAO, organized regularly for 50 years by FAO in collaboration with regional institutions. Since 1994, these meetings have been part of the activities of the working group FAO-OEA/CIE-IICA on agricultural and livestock statistics for Latin America and the Caribbean. The purpose of the meeting is to review the state of food and agricultural statistics in the region, to advise Member Nations on the development and standardization of agricultural statistical services and to convene study groups or other Subsidiary Bodies of national experts required for this purpose. The 30th session will take place on 20-23rd July 2021.
